Motivate Capital is a mission-driven investment management and consulting firm dedicated to creating impactful real investments. Our practice is committed to enabling our clients create real investments that purposefully achieve meaningful financial, social, and environmental objectives.
Services
Our focus on real assets stems from our experience with commercial real estate, renewable energy, timber, land, and sustainability. Importantly, Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) considerations lie at the core of our practice. We believe that consideration of environmental and social impacts is more than an exercise in risk mitigation—it is an understanding of their inextricable relationship to sustainable, long-term financial and economic growth.
We deliver consulting services on a wide breadth of topics concerning sustainable real investments. While not comprehensive, the following is a sampling of past, current, and potential assignments:

Financial modelling of prospective real investments;
Identifying and analyzing potential sources of capital;
Assessing alternative capitalization structures across financial, social, and environmental objectives;
Developing and implementing asset management strategies to maximize financial value while meeting social and environmental objectives;
Preparing asset valuations based on a variety of methodologies;
Analyzing sociodemographic, valuation, and other metrics using mapping software; and
Preparing documentation, memoranda, research, and presentations for investors, limited partners, investment committees, and other stakeholders.
